Raspberries !!
Martin seems to know a lot about the vegetation and the fauna found in the Alps. On long walks with him, he usually points out trees reciting their names to me. When he was a kid, his father would take him and his sisters out for long walks in the woods and they would sing songs together like the Partridge family. His father, a retired sheperd and park ranger, taught him everything he knows about the different kinds of trees and birds.
Martin usually finds different kinds of strange fruit on our long walks which he insists are edible. Normally, I cower from eating strange things, but this raspberry was familiar to me and it looks (looked) so delicious.
