Mountain biking in the Alps
The next day, Martin and I, decidedly not yet fatigued, went mountain biking in the mountains. It was very exhausting. The terrain was naturally very rocky and difficult to negotiate. We had to change speeds on the bike very, very often. I was even able to cycle uphill on a very steep incline. It was great.
The cows, like the ones in the picture, were ubiquitous. The scenery was beautiful. At one moment, we were on open fields nestled between mountains, at another, we were in the middle of the forest on a rocky and unstable path.
